How it came about

Education plays a defining role in helping to promote positive decision-making and equips students with the skills to critically evaluate information and develop healthy sexual and emotional attitudes.

It is vital that students receive factual information and have discussions about sexual health and relationships in a safe and supportive environment. This content is best delivered by teachers who have an understanding of their students' particular needs.

Our Program sponsor, Durex, understands the importance of effective and meaningful teaching materials when it comes to these topic areas and is committed to the responsible delivery of puberty, intimate relationships and sexual health resources to schools throughout Australia.

Developed by teachers, for teachers, Connect-ED meets relevant State/Territory syllabus outcomes and indicators and considers the draft Australian curriculum.
